Our program is led by hometown hero and 2X Olympian, Kristi Richards.   She is an NCCP Advanced Coach, with Air 4 and doubles certifications.  She is a Freestyle Canada Learning Facilitator for mentoring and teaching coach candidates.  Her Olympic experience gives her the first hand knowledge to guide and develop customized programs to meet each athlete where they are at in their athletic pathway.  She brings a professional platform, and a skilled team together for the support network of each athlete.  Apex is her home hill, and this community is behind her vision to elevate the sport, attract high level athletes and teams to the Resort, connect the community, and support the athletes to give them a chance for their own athletic goals.

Hi, I'm Seairra! Originally from Saskatchewan, I've spent the last four years coaching Freestyle Skiing in Alberta, and I also hold my Level 2 PSIC and CSIA certifications. I'm passionate about coaching skiers of all ages, and I've been especially enjoying my time working with the students at UNISUS. Sharing my love for skiing and helping others develop their skills is incredibly rewarding!  

Mike has over 20 years of coaching, facilitating, and leadership experience at all levels of sport and Club development stages, including building grassroots programs to coaching Olympic level athletes.  He has been instrumental in building and consulting at many Clubs and Organizations, to lead them to a successful model to enhance the experience of the athletes and members.  Mike is an iconic Freestyle Canada Learning Facilitator, and is passionate about developing safe, reliable and professional coaches.  He has over 10 years of building, maintaining and managing freestyle sites, features and facilities.  Mike is our Program Director and Coach Facilitator, and will be leading some of the competitions and camps this season.

Alex is a High Performance NorAm athlete,  and is now the Jr Performance Team and Unisus Program Coach.  He skied with the Ontario Provincial Team,  and 3 years with the KR Academy Performance Team.  He loves to give back to the sport that fuels him by sharing his talent and knowledge with the next generation.  He is great at carving, big mountain, park and moguls.

Patrick is a former Performance Team athlete, and a student at UBC.  He is talented in both slopestyle and moguls, and an Air 3 coach, assisting in on hill and trampoline programs.  Patrick also works with Airhouse in Kelowna and various athletes and programs throughout the Okanagan.

We invite high level guest coaches to be a part of our programs, and inject new ideas, skills and culture into our crew.  Watch for new faces!
